The Dragon Saber is a class that has the prequsites of both Dragon Buster at LEVEL 14 and Dragon Lancer at LEVEL 13 classes and one dragon class MUST be LEVEL 15 for final dragon saber unlocking quest, final gateway to sucess (but level 15 or higher is recommended for both class) and you must be in your Dragon classes to acquire your job change quest(s). As with all classes, the first time you change into this class you will be reset to level 1. Dochnal, the Dragon Saber Master, resides in the Dragon Saber Camp at the very top left wedge of Ateria Outlands, which can be accessed from Ateria Plains (N).

Dragon Saber Quests[]
To become a Dragon Saber, you must speak with Dochnal, the Dragon Saber Master. He resides in the Dragon Saber Camp at the very top left wedge of Ateria Outlands.
He will give you two quests to prove you are worthy and able to become a Dragon Saber.
The first gateway to success.
(You must be in your Dragon Lancer job to acquire the quest)
Defeat ten Forest Muffle L16.
Reward: 2400xp
They can be found in Zeth Forest (E). WARNING: An aggressive Lifey L18 resides near the Forest Muffles. It may be of benefit to have the aid of a higher level to kill the Lifey or to sneak around it by alternating entrances from the north and south (south entrance can be accessed by moving to Zeth Forest (W)).
Second gateway to success.
(You must be in your Dragon Buster job to acquire the quest)
Defeat ten Grock L17.
Reward: 2400xp
They can be found in Fool's Wasteland (N). Grocks are not aggressive and are not near any dangerously aggressive monsters.
Final gateway to success.
(You may be in either of your dragon classes to acquire the quest)
Defeat ten Cri Wyvern L18.
Reward: Dragon Saber Class change rights
They can be found in Fool's Wasteland (S)*
- The quest tracker claims that it's in Fool's Wasteland (N) but they're actually in the south just beyond Fool's Wasteland (N). WARNING: An aggressive (bee-like creature) resides to the south of the Cri Wyverns, and it may be difficult to complete the quest if the (bee-like creature) gets too close to the Cri Wyverns. However, these are easily avoided and it is not as much of a challenge as the Lifey L18 in the first test.
After becoming a Saber, you should speak to Tonelli, who is just down the hill on Dochnal's left, to begin your training.
Higher level equipment may be found in Colkia Village, starting at L17/L18.
